Angela Han
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Angela Han is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has been in the field of mental health over the past 20 years, starting her career as an inpatient psychiatric nurse at Seattle Veterans Affairs.  As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, she has 14 years of experience in treating children, adolescents, and adults. She received her undergraduate degrees in Nursing and Chemistry and graduate degree in Master of Nursing from the University of Washington. 

Her Nurse Practitioner experience involves working with families and collaborating with their therapists in a community mental health clinic in Seattle. Her last 7 years of work has been in an outpatient mental health clinic at John Muir Health in East Bay California treating diverse mental disorders for children to elderly clients. 

Her philosophy of mental health treatment involves providing individualized and holistic care including medication treatment, behavioral modification, cognitive reframing, life style changes, and other alternative methods to work toward the clients' goals. Angela encourages her clients toward self-compassion, self-empowerment, improving quality of life, and feeling connected with one self and others. Quality care matters and you will be heard. 

Angela Han, PMHNP, currently works in collaboration with a physician, Sarah Sherman, D.O.
